March 3, 2023 To my community, patients and colleagues, After 25 years of medical practice in Winnipeg, the time has come for me to transition to a new role. It was with gratitude that I was appointed to represent Manitoba in the Senate of Canada on September 26, 2022, and I will now devote my time and energy to this new appointment. Senators provide counterbalance to the representation by population in the House of Commons, defend regional interests, and give voice to underrepresented groups like Indigenous peoples, women, and visible minorities. It has been a privilege to look after your Ear, Nose and Throat concerns over the years and my clinical practice will close on April 09, 2023.
